Only one week to go until MODERN HEART is released!
Today I’m revealing two more songs on the playlist. And, you guessed it, there’s one more song from Sia (last one, I promise!)
This is another popular track that’s been played over and over worldwide, but again, I felt it was so apt to Scarlett’s journey. Her thick skin and her unwillingness to let anyone see her fall apart are the lines that stick in my head the most!

It’s not all heartache though. This next song came out right around the time I was first conceptualizing Scarlett’s story and it captures perfectly the magic John brings to Scarlett’s life.
Another fantastic clip, this time from Coldplay. I think I also saw a little bit of Scarlett in the knife wielding magician’s assistant, too. What do you think?
